Meredith Dugas

Principal and Co-Founder

Meredith has successfully helped companies establish messaging programs, advocate for important policy decisions, report on environmental, social, and governance performance, grow media relations programs, launch new products, navigate crises, and engage key stakeholders.

Before founding Prose Strategic Communications, Meredith was the Communications Director for a publicly traded, multi-asset, global lithium business. While there, she helped lead the corporate message strategy and communications to investors, communities, government stakeholders, and employees. Meredith played an integral role in developing the sustainability reporting framework for the company and established a range of communication vehicles vital to community relations efforts. She also served as a key contributor to the corporate earnings program, as well as the Proxy and annual and quarterly financial filings.

Meredith worked in an agency setting for more than 15 years prior to her recent corporate position. She supported clients across various industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, healthcare, legal, banking, and finance. During that time, Meredith developed communications strategies for several leading global corporations and helped some of the nation’s top organizations take on critical challenges and opportunities.

She managed everything from branding, thought leadership, and crisis management to merger and acquisition communications, issues management, risk and reputation management, and product marketing. Meredith helped train teams, develop lead-generation strategies, and drive growth across businesses. On three occasions, her work earned a Silver Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators.

Meredith earned a Master of Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in public relations from the University of Houston. When she’s not penning out the next great communications strategy, you can find her with her husband and two children at their tumbling, basketball, baseball, or football events.
