Paul Kuehn

Principal

Paul has spent nearly two decades helping companies accelerate growth at the intersection of clean energy, marketing technology, and customer experience. He has led brand repositioning efforts, built data-driven demand generation engines, launched national partner programs, and delivered breakthrough campaigns that fuel pipeline growth, strengthen market share, and drive long-term customer value.

Previously, Paul worked as the Strategic Director of Marketing & Sales for Energy Solutions at ENGIE North America, where he led a high-performing team responsible for customer acquisition, brand positioning, and revenue growth across the distributed energy market. In 2024 alone, his team delivered more than 600 marketing qualified leads and contributed 30% of the total pipeline through integrated ABM, digital, and AI-powered business development programs.

He pioneered an AI-driven outreach initiative to improve lead velocity and conversion rates and implemented a robust data intelligence system to improve segmentation, forecasting, and attribution, while streamlining workflows across sales, product, and marketing. His efforts helped unify the go-to-market strategy, increase operational efficiency, and elevate ENGIE’s brand credibility with top-tier commercial and industrial customers.

Before joining ENGIE, Paul was Senior Sales Director at Centrica Business Solutions, where he led a national channel team and built a $350 million sales pipeline through strategic go-to-market programs across clean energy and fleet electrification. He helped negotiate Centrica’s first end-to-end EV fleet service in North America and established more than 100 formalized partner agreements that expanded market reach and accelerated sales velocity.

Earlier in his career, Paul held leadership roles in business development and market expansion at GI Energy and Deutsche Eco, where he originated more than $100 million in distributed energy projects and played a key role in developing New York City’s first grid-connected battery storage project. His experience spans energy retail, distributed generation, utilities-as-a-service, and B2B sustainability markets across the U.S., U.K., and Europe.

Paul holds a Master’s in Administration with a focus on Change Management and Finance from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and German from Rutgers University. A former Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, he brings both global perspective and practical expertise to every commercial strategy. He lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.
